Will any brand battery fit any tool?
No. A battery always fits its own brand first. To use it on another brand, you need a gadget that clicks straight on ("fits as-is") or a separate adapter — we mark which one on every entry.
What do "Made for it", "Fits as-is", and "Needs adapter" mean?
"Made for it" means the same brand made both the battery and the gadget. "Fits as-is" means a different brand's gadget clicks on with no extra parts. "Needs adapter" means you need one more part to connect them.
Is a battery included with the gadget?
Usually not — most gadgets here are sold as just the tool, without a battery. Each entry says whether a battery is in the box.
Does this work outside the US?
Yes, for the platforms marked as available in your country. Use the region selector to switch your country, and only batteries actually sold there will show up.
Why isn't my battery platform listed?
We only add a platform once we've hand-checked at least one real gadget for it. If yours is missing, tell us on the contact page and we'll look into it.
How current is the data?
Every entry is checked by hand, and we recheck them over time. See the "How we check" page for the full process.
How do I report a mistake?
Email us from the contact page with the battery and gadget name. Corrections to the data get looked at first.
